(Class of 2000) graduated from CIA in 2000, married the cute guy she worked with at Taco Bell in 2001, moved to Las Vegas in ’04 and back to Soldotna in ’08. Ginni taught at Cook Inlet for five years and has since worked at her church as the Children’s Director for the past 3 years.

Ginni and Joel have 4 fantastic kids, all of whom have attended CIA at some point. Their oldest daughter is 17 and a senior there this year. Their boys are 14 and 12, and their youngest daughter is 6. They have fostered and had up to seven kids, so 4 feels pretty manageable.

Ginni shares, “CIA has been a big part of my life and who I am. I’ve experienced the school as a student, staff kid, sub, volunteer, teacher, and parent, and can truly say I’m a better person for the influence that place has had on my (and my kids’) life.

Our life, like everyone’s, has not been easy and is not always picture perfect, but God is faithful and loves us right in the middle of our messiness. He’s been faithful to teach me something about who I am or who He is in the midst of each trial.”
